Glibenclamide

Glibenclamide, also known as glyburide, is a medication used to treat type 2 diabetes. It belongs to a class of drugs called sulfonylureas, which work by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas. Glibenclamide helps lower blood sugar levels by stimulating the production of insulin and increasing the body's sensitivity to it.
